Description

The IES-3164GP-LA is a 20-port industrial Layer 2 managed Fast Ethernet switch designed for reliable network connectivity in factory automation, industrial control systems, and critical infrastructure applications. Featuring 16 × 10/100Base-T(X) RJ45 ports and 4 × 100/1000Base-X SFP slots, it provides high-density device connectivity with Gigabit fiber uplinks for industrial network integration.

Advanced Ethernet redundancy protocols, including O-Ring, O-Chain, IEC 62439-2 MRP, and MSTP/RSTP/STP, help minimize network interruptions and maintain communication availability. O-Ring delivers recovery times under 30ms across up to 250 nodes, while O-Chain enables multiple redundant rings to be interconnected for flexible network expansion.

The IES-3164GP-LA also offers VLAN, QoS, IGMP snooping, and Modbus TCP for efficient network management and industrial communication. Security features such as HTTPS/SSH, IEEE 802.1X authentication, ACL, and TACACS+ help strengthen network access control. With dual redundant 12–48VDC power inputs, an IP30 enclosure, and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 75°C, the switch is suitable for demanding industrial environments.
