Description
IGS-R9884DGPP+ is a Layer 3 managed industrial Ethernet switch with 20 ports: 8x 10/100/1000Base-T(X) RJ45, 8x 100/1000/2500Base-X SFP slots, and 4x 1G/10GBase-X SFP+ slots. Its 136 Gbps switching capacity supports all 20 ports at full line rate, so the four 10G SFP+ uplinks can aggregate traffic from the 2.5G and Gigabit ports without becoming a bottleneck.
Layer 3 functions include static routing, RIP v2, and VRRP, allowing the switch to route between VLANs and provide gateway redundancy at the aggregation layer. For Layer 2 redundancy, O-Ring recovers in under 30 ms in rings of up to 250 switches, O-Chain joins multiple rings into one topology, and MSTP (RSTP/STP compatible) and IEC 62439-2 MRP* ensure interoperability with third-party networks.
The switch runs on dual redundant 12–48 VDC power inputs, operates from -20 to 60°C in an IP30 housing, and can be managed via web interface, CLI, SNMP, or ORing’s Open-Vision utility.
